Holder of both a Master's and a Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in the United States in Administration and Policy Analysis, currently working as a Consultant and Board Member for several cultural, academic, and national institutions. He is a Board Member of the Literature, Translation, and Publishing Authority, the National Centre for Government Performance Measurement, and the schools of the Mohammed bin Salman Charitable Foundation (Misk). He also contributed to the establishment and development of several educational and consulting institutions. A Saudi teacher, philosophy trainer, and writer. She is the first Saudi woman to specialize as a philosophy teacher for children. She is accredited by the Philosophy Foundation UK. She participated in developing the philosophy and critical thinking curriculum for the Saudi Ministry of Education. She founded the Basirah Ideas Consultancy and is the director of its educational programs. She is considered one of the most prominent Saudi researchers in logic, ethics, and metaphysics.Assistant Professor at Taibah University - KSA
Currently serves as the Chair of the Saudi Centre of Philosophy & Ethics (SCOPE) and holds a position as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Taibah University. His academic journey included a stint as a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Department of Linguistics and Philosophy. Alsharif's philosophical pursuits encompass the philosophy of artificial intelligence, epistemology, and ethics.
His recent scholarly endeavours focus on exploring the moral and epistemic dimensions of openness, both as an individual trait and as a historical force shaping human evolution. Alsharif has contributed several research articles to this field, including "Open-mindedness as a Corrective Virtue" and "Moral Contingency and Open-mindedness." He is currently authoring his debut book, "Openness from The Intellectual to The Political," and is involved in co-authoring and editing a book on "GenerativeGeneral Manager of Corporate Communication at the Ministry of Education - KSA
A journalist and expert in strategic communication and organisational communication - combining practical, leadership, and academic experience in the field of media and communication. He has worked as a Presenter and Producer on Al Arabiya channel and Rotana network and has overseen corporate communication departments in several major Saudi institutions, most recently as the General Supervisor of Corporate Communication at the Saudi Ministry of Education and its current Spokesperson. He is also a Faculty Member at the College of Media and Communication at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
